Betty is a shy cat that came from a house with many other cats. She tolerates cats in her space but doesn't appreciate pushy or rough play. Wand toys are definitely the way to Betty's heart. She enjoys chasing them more than anything and her favorite ones are the ribbon toys. Betty is not fond of humans in her space. Smudge is an older male cat who is used to ruling the roost. He was previously an indoor outdoor cat but needs meds every 12 hours.
The meds aren't very expensive and he eats them in his wet food. In his previous home he would act out if not allowed outside but he doesn't seem to mind being inside here and we have even started harness training him so he can still enjoy the outside. Smudge does not appreciate other animals in his space but he likes people. He doesn't always want pets but he likes to be held and sit in laps. Smudge is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.

Jen is a sweet 5 year old cat who has been our longest resident at the shelter. Jen loves people and gets along with some dogs and cats. Jen can be a bit of a bully and does best with cats that let her be in charge. She has some special needs including a Urinary Hairball food diet. Jen does have some litter box issues and does better when there are multiple clean litterboxes available. Jen's favorite locations are up high and in the sun.
